1. Eligibility

AllPrimary 6 students or equivalent.  

Up to 10 Primary 5 students perschools for Singapore schools only.

Registrationis only available through the school

2. Round 1 Competition

Thetotal mark for the competition paper will be 150marks, which are allotted as follows:

Questions   1 to 10:   4 marks each

Questions11 to 20:    5 marks each

Questions21 to 30:    6 marks each

Therewill be no deduction of marks for error or omissions. Marks will be awarded forcorrect answers only.

Theduration of the competition is 2hours.

3. Prizes for Round 1

i) Platinum Award: top 1.5% orthe top 50 participants whichever is lower.

ii) Gold Award: next 2.5% orthe next 70 participants of the field whichever is lower.

iii) Silver Award: next 6% ofthe field

iv) Bronze Award: next 10% ofthe field.

v) Others will receive ane-certificate of participation.

Prizeevaluation for P5 and P6 students together.

4. Summary of Important Dates

i) 15 Jan 2024: Invitationemail with registration process will be sent out

ii)  29 Jan 2024: OnlineRegistration for APMOPS Round 1 open

iii)  29 Feb 2024: Deadline forOnline Registration for APMOPS Round 1

iv)  18 April 2024: OnlineAPMOPS Round 1 for Singapore and Malaysian Schools

v)  1 May 2024: Release ofResults for APMOPS Round 1

vi) 25 May 2024: APMOPSInvitation Round and Prize Presentation (pending COVID 19 Measures)
