2. Without Understanding, No Leaving:
To ensure that students understand the lesson fully, teachers will stay after class to clarify doubts and guide them in doing the corrections.
Teacher Ma stayed after class to guide corrections and clear all doubts students had.
3. Sense of Achievement:
We help students recognize their progress and accomplishments to boost their confidence and inspire continued learning.
When students answer practice questions correctly, they earn a stamp on their paper. These stamps can be accumulated and exchanged for collectible cards, which can then be redeemed for exciting prizes, creating a sense of achievement and encouraging consistent effort.
Unique Learning Features
In addition to the teaching principles, Kangaroo Study has designed a set of unique learning features to ensure our students master the content of the holiday course:
1. Pre-Class and Post-Class Quizzes:
- Pre-Class Quiz: A brief quiz conducted 20 minutes before each lesson to assess students' understanding of the previous session. This approach encourages students to review the previous lesson after class and also helps the teacher understand students’ learning progress.
- Post-Class Quiz: At the end of each lesson, students take a 20-minute test individually to evaluate their understanding of the content covered in the lesson. Teachers will mark and correct mistakes on the spot to ensure students fully understand the lesson and content.
2.Explaining Homework Questions:
Our teachers will provide support by addressing key homework questions and clearing doubts through WhatsApp or other communication platforms after class, ensuring students receive timely guidance. Additionally, we also encourage students to explain key homework questions to their parents, articulating each step clearly. This approach helps them solidify their grasp of the material, improve fluency in applying concepts, and identify areas needing further review.
