IMO Singapore gets the best result in the last 8 years, 6th in the world. Congratulations to Kangaroo.Study Yang Yihan for winning the only gold medal in the Singapore IMO team!
IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) is the world's premier mathematics competition for secondary school students, with 108 countries participating in 2024. The Singapore team won 1 gold and 5 silver medals, and was ranked 6th in the world as a team, the best result in the last 8 years. It must be mentioned that Yang Yihan, who won the only gold medal in the Singapore team, is from RI and is the youngest student in the Singapore team. This is his first time to participate in the IMO this year, and he was ranked 14th in the world! He is also a Kangaroo School Competition student. Congratulations to the Singapore team and the students!
