Kindergarten 2 Open Class: Odd and Even Numbers
On 19th October (Sunday), Tr. Smith conducted a K2 Open Class on “ Odd and Even Numbers” at Kangaroo Study.
1.Lesson Walkthrough
Tr Smith began the lesson with a real-life example of selling socks to help students understand the concept of odd and even numbers. This relatable scenario made the abstract idea more concrete.
Tr. Smith explained how to identify odd and even numbers, highlighting their key characteristics. He then guided students step by step through examples to determine whether sums, including long series, were odd or even.
After completing the lesson, Tr. Smith will let students take a 10-minute after-class test to check their understanding. He observed students’ approaches and provided immediate guidance to help them correct mistakes and strengthen their understanding.
At the end of class, Tr Smith engaged with parents, sharing insights from the lesson and addressing their questions. This conversation helped connect classroom learning with activities at home.
