How do Top Students Learn Math Olympiad? · The GEP exam is over — how should my child start learning Math Olympiad? · Do top students rely only on talent, or are there other secrets to their success? · Which should be the first Math Olympiad resource or book to use? To answer these questions, we have invited Teacher Cao from Kangaroo Study to share the success experiences of top students. He will present real cases of children who have excelled in secondary-level competitions such as IMO and SMO, as well as primary-level competitions like NMOS, RMO, and APMOPS. All seminar participants will receive an exclusive, must-have P4 Math Olympiad booklet. Our Speaker Headmaster, Teacher Cao An IMO&CMO Gold medal coach, he has achieved impressive results with his students. In 2022, his class of 16 students 4 won gold medals and 8 won silver medals in the NMOS competition. One student ranked 1st in Asia for IMSO, and 2 secondary school students were selected for the senior training team. In 2023, all 10 secondary school students from the Exploration class advanced to the SMO second round, with 6 in the Top 30, 4 in the Top 10, and 5 selected for the Junior Training Team. In 2024, all 19 Exploration class students advanced to the SMO second round, with 10 ranking in the Top 30, 3 in the Top 10, and 16 joining the Junior Training Team. Notably, student Yang Yihan earned Singapore's only gold medal in the 2024 IMO and ranked 14th globally. In 2025, 41 of his students advanced to the SMO second round, with 15 ranking in the Top 30 of Singapore, 5 in the Top 10, and 17 joining the Junior Training Team. Notably, student Yang Yihan earned another gold medal in the 2025 IMO.
