June Holiday Class Comes to a Fulfilling Close – Here’s What We Learned!
Starting from May 31, Kangaroo.Study’s June Holiday Class officially wrapped up today! This June, we spent a fulfilling and rewarding learning journey with our students — every moment of focus, every breakthrough, reflected their growth and transformation✨ 01 Classroom Highlights & Parent Feedback
As the June holiday class comes to a close, many parents have shared their children’s progress with us and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the course content and teaching approach.
Here are some photos from our classes, capturing the students’ moments of focus and their journey of growth in the classroom.
02 From the Teachers’ Perspective: Insights Behind the Classroom
We also had the opportunity to interview several of our lead instructors from this June Holiday Class. They shared their observations on student performance, along with some reflections and insights from the teaching journey. Principal Tr. Cao
(click this title to watch the video) Principal Tr. Cao shared that what makes him happiest is seeing students becoming more confident in asking questions. At Kangaroo Study, teachers always strive to create a safe and encouraging classroom environment, one where students feel comfortable to speak up and share their thought processes openly.
Head of lower Primary, Tr. Zhang Tao (click this title to watch the video) Tr. Zhang, who leads the Lower Primary division, mentioned a particular student whose growth during the holiday programme left a deep impression on him. He believes that witnessing this kind of gradual progress is exactly what makes teaching meaningful and valuable. Head of Primary 3, Tr. Smith (click this title to watch the video) Tr. Smith, who is in charge of P3, shared that he often prepares relatable, real-life examples to help younger students understand abstract concepts more easily. This approach helps them grasp ideas better, remember them more effectively, and enjoy the learning process. Head of Upper Primary, Tr. Gao Xuming (click this title to watch the video) Tr. Gao said that beyond teaching knowledge, this holiday class focused heavily on helping students build effective study habits. He also encourages them to explore the logic and principles behind what they learn, which helps spark genuine curiosity and interest in learning. Head of Primary 5, Tr. Yu Xian (click this title to watch the video) Tr. Yu Xian shared some teaching practices from the P5 class, particularly the use of correction books and Redo. These steps help students take ownership of their learning and actively reinforce the knowledge they’ve acquired during this holiday.
Head of Primary 6 PSLE, Tr. Ma (click this title to watch the video) Tr. Ma, who leads the P6 PSLE, spoke about how impressed he was by his students’ performance in class. He also shared insights into how the PSLE classes are structured and designed.
Head of Secondary, Tr. Jeremiah (click this title to watch the video) Tr. Jeremiah said one of the most noticeable improvements he saw was how students have learned to write out their problem-solving steps clearly. This habit not only supports their learning in geometry but also helps them build a more organised and deeper way of thinking.
Head of Secondary, Tr. Wenlong (click this title to watch the video) Tr. Wenlong highlighted the care and effort teachers put into lesson preparation, as well as their consistent high standards for teaching quality. He also mentioned that after class, teachers actively follow up on each student’s learning progress and stay in close communication to ensure everyone is keeping up and benefiting from the lessons.

In class, students review prior knowledge through pre-tests, examples, take quizzes, and receive immediate corrections.
After class, they redo examples, explain to parents, finish after class practices, and also complete a daily practice, turning short-term learning into lasting skills.
These nine steps are seamlessly connected across the full learning journey, forming a solid foundation of both understanding and capability. 04 Semester 2 Courses Information The June Holiday Class is coming to an end — but don’t worry if you missed it! Our Semester 2 courses are just around the corner. Starting from 4 July, our new semester will officially begin, offering classes from primary to secondary students. Class schedules vary by level, and the full course details and enrolment guide will be published tomorrow on this platform, stay tuned!
How To Enroll? All students are required to complete a placement test before enrolling.
This allows our team to assess the child’s current level and recommend the most suitable class.
