Semester 2 Has Officially Started at Kangaroo.Study! This weekend marks the exciting start of our Semester 2 classes! This semester, we continue to offer structured and progressive math course for P1–P6 (including PSLE) and S1 students. From foundational skills to advanced problem-solving, our lessons are designed to support every child’s growth at every stage. We were thrilled to receive positive feedback from students and parents just after the very first lesson. Such sincere and timely responses are exactly what motivates us to keep refining and improving our teaching. First Lesson: Setting the Tone, Starting with Method
Instead of rushing into new content, our teachers focused the first lesson on establishing classroom rhythm and introducing effective learning strategies. All students received their lesson booklets and correction books, along with a walkthrough on how to use them. Teachers helped students map out their weekly learning cycle—from pre-class prep to in-class practice, from corrections to homework submissions. Every step was clearly explained. Teachers also provided both students and parents with a detailed overview of the course schedule and key content goals for the term, ensuring a smooth and well-organised start. Many parents actively joined in as well—some sat in to observe the lessons and took notes, while others spoke with our teachers after class to learn more about their child’s experience and progress. Parents Can Sit In and Observe We welcome parents to sit in during lessons and observe from the back of the classroom. This transparency allows parents to understand our teaching approach and see first-hand how we interact with students.
