A Must-Attend Seminar:
Sec 1 Math Is Very Different — Why Even AL1 Students Might Struggle
Why do some students struggle with Sec 1 Math even though they did well in Primary School?
What changes in Sec 1 Math learning that parents and students often underestimate? If my child joins an IP school, how can he cope with the increased pace and competition? The transition to Secondary 1 is a major turning point in a student’s Math journey. Many students start falling behind not because they lack ability, but because they continue using Primary School learning methods that no longer work in Secondary School.
During Kangaroo Study’s recent holiday programme, our teachers worked with over 100 students. We observed clear differences in how students adapt to Secondary-level Math — and identified the key habits and approaches that help stronger students stay ahead.
In addition, our teaching department has specially analysed the study methods and learning habits of Sec 1 EOY top scorers, identifying the key approaches that help students achieve consistent success.
To share these insights, Teacher Jeremiah, Head of Primary-to-Secondary Transition at Kangaroo Study, will be hosting this dedicated seminar. This will be an in-person seminar with limited slots available, do register via the link below.
