“PSLE Math Intensive Course for AL1” is now open for registration!
The"PSLE Math Intensive Course for AL1" is designed to provide focused and comprehensive preparation for students aiming to achieve an AL1 score in the PSLE Mathematics exam. This short-term course is specifically tailored to address the challenging areas of Paper 2, including the geometry and word problems.
To achieve AL1 in PSLE Mathematics, it is essential to ensure that the marks lost is within 10 points. As Paper 2 carries a higher weighting and is more challenging, it can be considered the "critical area" where students tend to lose marks. Therefore, a child's performance in Paper 2 directly affects their chances of successfully obtaining an AL1 score.
Recent years' statistics of challenging topics in Paper 2 I have compiled the topics covered in the last few challenging questions of Paper 2 in recent years
Through the analysis, it can be observed that the geometry and the word problems are the most frequently tested, and they are also of high difficulty.
The geometry and word problems are also the areas where most children struggle. Therefore, this intensive course in July will specifically help students overcome these two major challenges in PSLE Mathematics Paper 2.
